Using perfume with alcohol

Q: I wanted to purchase some oud. The person selling it had informed me that to speed up the process of making this oud they use a very little brandy (type of alcohol) in the oud. He also mentioned that the Ulama said it is permissble to use such oud.

Will it be permissble to use this oud? Will there be a difference in the maslah if the brandy is made from grapes or if the brandy is made from something besides grapes, for example it is made from wheat?

Is ambergris pure?

Q: I would like to know if ambergris is pure. I've heard that it is either the vomit or faeces of a sperm whale. In light of the Shafi and Hanafi madhab, would a perfume containing ambergris be ritually impure?

Q: I've got an itr which I'm not certain if it is meant for males or females (but I strongly think its a men's itr). Will it be permissible for me, as a female, to use that itr in the house or will it be counted as imitating men?

Q: Is applying oud halaal or haraam since in many oud's, the producers add alcohol although the alcohol is evaporated at about 15°C to 20°C (as per the producers comments)?

Men using perfumes which leaves a stain on the clothing

Q: Is it permissible to use perfumes which contains saffron, as in a hadith our beloved Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) has prohibited it. Is this Hadith still applicable?

باب في الخلوق للرجال 4176 حدثنا موسى بن إسمعيل حدثنا حماد أخبرنا عطاء الخراساني عن يحيى بن يعمر عن عمار بن ياسر قال قدمت على أهلي ليلا وقد تشققت يداي فخلقوني بزعفران فغدوت على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فسلمت عليه فلم يرد علي ولم يرحب بي وقال اذهب فاغسل هذا عنك فذهبت فغسلته ثم جئت وقد بقي علي منه ردع فسلمت فلم يرد علي ولم يرحب بي وقال اذهب فاغسل هذا عنك فذهبت فغسلته ثم جئت فسلمت عليه فرد علي ورحب بي وقال إن الملائكة لا تحضر جنازة الكافر بخير ولا المتضمخ بالزعفران ولا الجنب قال ورخص للجنب إذا نام أو أكل أو شرب أن يتوضأ حدثنا نصر بن علي حدثنا محمد بن بكر أخبرنا ابن جريج أخبرني عمر بن عطاء ابن أبي الخوار أنه سمع يحيى بن يعمر يخبر عن رجل أخبره عن عمار بن ياسر زعم عمر أن يحيى سمى ذلك الرجل فنسي عمر اسمه أن عمارا قال تخلقت بهذه القصة والأول أتم بكثير فيه ذكر الغسل قال قلت لعمر وهم حرم قال لا القوم مقيمون ابوا داؤد
