Suspending the Talaaq

Suspended talaaq

Q: If a man divorces his wife for the frst time but then they reunite and every thing sorted out. Again after a period of time they again got divorced and again they remarry and everything sorted out but the third time if a man asked his wife that he is going abroad and not to go out without his permission otherwise it'll be considered a divorce. So now is it considered a final divorce? I mean if in this situation is it considered 3 divorces at a time because she went out without his permission... and if both are willing to live together for the sake of children is it possible for them to do so without 'halaala'. Kindly can I get your copy of fatwa regarding this as it is a serious domestic issue.

Suspending a talaaq

Q: My sister and brother in laws abuse me very badly so I told my husband that I won't cook food for them. Then my husband said that if you won't cook food for them then I have also one condition that you have to leave your mother forever and never talk to her otherwise our relationship is over. On this condition I decided to go to my parents home then my husband stopped me by saying that do whatever you want but don't go. Then we started living as husband and wife but again he started forcing me to cook food for them and the argument continued but one night on 6 October 2016, I told my husband that why are you always forcing me to cook food for them as I have told you that I won't cook. Than my husband said that I have also told you that leave your mother otherwise our relationship is over talaak. Since then I am living with my parents. My husband says that come back I have not given you a talaak. Please tell me whether I am divorced or not?

Suspending the talaaq upon the wife speaking to a specific person

Q: My question is regarding divorce. My wife used to talk to a person. I told her that if she talks to that person again, our nikaah will be broken. Now I have realised that I should not have said that and want to allow her to talk without our nikaah being broken. What can be done?

Suspended Talaaq

Q: A person in a great anger says to his wife that if you will do a particular work then three talaqs shall be applicable. After a long time his wife forget what her husband said and she unwillingly did that work (Halaal work). Kindly clarify the status of the couple. They are still living their marriage life as 2 things they feel are in their favor

1- The husband was in great anger.

2- The wife did that by mistake as she had forgot the incident.

Conditional talaaq

Q: Me and my wife have been arguing two months ago to reconcile. She made me take an oath of a conditional divorce. The conversation is as follows where my wife said: If she ever gets hurt by my action and she tells me she will get hurt regardless of the reason then it's talaaq x3 and if I ever know I will be hurting her and still carry on the act then its talaaq x 3. All I did was when she finished I just repeated the words talaaq x 3 only. A few days ago she told me not to do a certain act. All she said was don't do it. She didn't warn me she will be upset neither did I know she will get upset. I had done the act and she said the condition is fulfilled now its finished. Is this true? We have reconciled now and we strongly believe the conditions weren't meant as we were the ones deciding these. Will it be possible to get a Fatwaa to revoke this condition? Allah is the most merciful, He is the most forgiving so many hadeeths say Allah forgives all sins. Please could you help?

Talaaq

Q: My husband was upset at me because my father parked in parking spot outside. He kept saying you should tell me when he parks and I kept saying I didn't know he parked. Eventually I said that let me go to my father right now and tell him please don't park in his parking, hearing that my husband got upset and said that if you tell him then I will give you talaaq. Hearing that, I didn't go in the room. Later on my father came to me and asked why my husbands upset, on that I said that you parked on his parking spot. Does this issue a talaaq?

Q: My question is regarding divorce. My daughter wants to get married to her cousin but my husband is completely against it. Last year he said in anger that if they do nikaah, our nikaah will be broken. Now he has realised he should not have said that and has said that that statement does not count anymore. If my daughter gets married to this boy will our nikah still be broken or is there a way out?

Suspended talaaq

Q: My husband has said many times "I won't do this or that, if do it then you are divorced - talaq". He has said it many times and still he did what he said he won't do without thinking. Now, he has said that more then 5 times and did everything that he had swore on. Has the talaaq taken place? How can I
still stay with him if talaaq has taken place.

Conditional divorce

Q: Is there any clear proof in Quran and Sunnah for conditional divorce and what to do if someone issued a conditional divorce in past. For example; if someone said to his wife that if you done before 33 years that work; etc then you will be divorced and if not then you are not?

Suspending the talaaq

Q: Will the talaaq take place if my husband suspends the talaaq upon any action that he does. For example, he says "If I watch porn, then my wife is divorced". Then, in the future, if he does watch any porn, will the talaaq take place? Similarly, what is the Shar'ee ruling if my husband suspends the talaaq upon any action that I do? For example, he says "If you go to your friends house, you will be divorced". If I then at any time in the future go to my friends house, will the talaaq take place?
