Q: It is mentioned in the Hadith that Voluntary Worship is a means of attaining proximity to Allah. Besides the Obligatory and Essential Prayers, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) used to make arrangements for the Voluntary (Nawafil) Prayers too.

1) I want to perform tahajjud namaz daily but when I sleep I don't wake up at the time of tahajjud. So can I just offer eight rakats Voluntary Worship for Allah before going to sleep daily?

2) Is it allowed to perform extra Voluntary Worship any time of a day and any time of night before going to sleep?

Q: I want to ask that if I fall asleep at night without offering Isha prayer (unintentionally) and then in the middle of night if I wake up, can I offer isha prayer and soon after that tahajjud prayer? Also, do I read tahajjud prayer before witr or after witr (completing isha prayer and then read tahajjud)?

Q: The tahajjud when you pray four rakaats or more, is there a salaam in every two rakaats or when you make an intention to perform eight rakaats you will perform it with a salaam on the last rakaat? or on the eight rakaat?

Q: Can you please advise the correct way to perform Tahajjud salah (night prayer)? Is it permissible to pray it after the Isha prayer? Is it permissible to wake up at a certain time where I can pray my Tahajud and an hour later I can pray Fajar? Please advise the best way to focus in namaz, due to some of the stressful conditions I am going through, those thoughts come and go in my mind during Salah.
