Reciting Ayat No 134 of Sura Al Aale Imraan for depression

Q: Is the Ayat No 134 of Sura Al Aale Imran if recited 100 times a cure for depression. Please advise.

A: This Aayah can be recited to remove depression. These things relate to Amaliyaat which are proven through experience. Since it is a treatment one will not require any special proof in Deen. Furthermore practising upon it will be permissible on condition one does not regard it as a Sunnah and the action one carries out is of a permissible nature.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
