Deen and ibaadat being affected due to getting involved in a haraam relationship

Q: Someone living abroad falls in love with someone. They talk online. If they are into this relationship, will that be a reason for their duas not being answered from allah, even if they offer tahajjud and make sincere duas?

A: If they continue with the haraam relationship, then this will affect their deen and the ibaadaat that they carry out. They will not receive the full rewards for the ibaadaat they carry out on account of the sins they are involved in. Hence, they should immediately break off this haraam relationship and sincerely repent to Allah Ta'ala for getting involved in this haraam and make a firm resolve that they will not repeat this in the future.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
