Taking pictures of charity work

Q: What is the ruling of shariah with regards to taking pictures/videos of works of charity/welfare? Like digging a borehole, building masjids, food hampers, Qurbani, etc? Lot of Muslim organizations take pictures/videos of the charitable works done.
A: We prefer not to take pictures. And pictures of animate objects are impermissible and haraam. What is the point of doing charitable works and mixing it with haraam. How do you expect the charitable works to gain acceptance when you are messing it up.
