Q: I'm going for a fertility treatment. I have 2 boys and I really want a beautiful healthy normal baby girl insha-Allah. I wanted to know, is gender selection allowed in Islam and what are the rulings regarding this.
A: If the treatment involves exposing the satr area or doing anything that is against the shariah, then it will not be permissible.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
