Taking an oath to fast consecutively

Q: I made an oath to Allah that I would fast for 5 consecutive days if a particular event took place. I fasted the 5 days but not consecutively. Is my oath fulfilled?

A: Since you did not fast for five days consecutively, your oath has not been fulfilled. In order to fulfil your oath, you should fast for five days consecutively.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
