Doing something good for a non-Muslims hereafter

Q: I had a close non-Muslim friend. He helped me in all my difficult situations and helped me to grow in all possible ways. Now he is no more. How can I support him for his hereafter world?

A: Islam is a prerequisite for the benefit of the hereafter. Without Islam actions are not accepted.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ ۚ وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدِ افْتَرَىٰ إِثْمًا عَظِيمًا (النساء: 48)
